Top 5 Cornwall Walks
This project was a bit of a homecoming for me.
The very guidebook behind these walks was the one that first got me out exploring again during a time when I really needed it. It gave me the confidence to head out on my own, to walk, to think, and to slowly rebuild something for myself.
To come back to it not long after and work with Ordnance Survey to bring these walks to life felt like everything coming full circle.
For this series, I revisited five of my favourite routes from the guide, some of which I hadn’t walked since those early days.
This page brings together my top 5 Cornwall walks, documented through film and storytelling.
What you’ll find below is a collection of those walks, along with the full feature film that ties them all together.

Top 5 Cornwall Walks | Feature Film
This is a piece I’m genuinely proud of.
It brings together five of my favourite walks in Cornwall and turns them into something more than just routes on a map. This film is about the coastline, the scale of it, and the moments you find when you slow down and take it all in.
It was the first time I really pushed things creatively, using drone footage and voiceover to try and capture what it actually feels like to be out there. If you want a sense of what these walks are really like before diving into them individually, this is the best place to start.

These are the five walks I picked from the Ordnance Survey Pathfinder Cornwall guide, each offering something completely different but equally memorable. Together, they form my top 5 Cornwall walks, showcasing just how varied walking in Cornwall can be. From rugged cliffs and hidden coves to quieter estuary paths and iconic landmarks, this is a collection that really showcases just how varied walking in Cornwall can be.
Every route here has been walked, filmed and experienced first hand, so what you’re seeing isn’t just a recommendation, it’s a real insight into what it’s like to be out there on the path.

The Guide Behind The Series
This entire series was built using the Cornwall Pathfinder Walks guide by Ordnance Survey. When I first started walking again, I didn’t really have the headspace to plan routes. This book gave me a simple way to get out the door, follow something clear, and build a routine around being outside again.
Each walk comes with a detailed OS map, clear step by step directions, and points of interest along the way. It even highlights the pubs, which is always a bonus. The routes are split into green, blue and orange, so you can build up from shorter walks to longer ones without overthinking it.
I used the Cornwall version for this series, but the Pathfinder guides cover loads of areas across the country. If you’re looking to start exploring where you live, they’re a really solid place to begin.
“We really enjoyed working with Dan on this series. He was quick to grasp what we needed for our Pathfinder Cornwall guide promotion and delivered thoughtful, evergreen videos and written content that has landed extremely well with our audience. Everything was delivered smoothly and on time, making the whole process easy from start to finish.“
