Things People Ask Me
Not everything about Bimbling Books and Beer fits neatly into a page.
So whether you’re here to follow the journey, work with me, or just understand what it’s all about, these are some of the questions I get asked most.
Most of my content is based in Cornwall and Devon, mainly along the coast and sections of the South West Coast Path.
That said, it’s not limited to that. I’ve filmed in places like Scotland and the Peak District, and over time I want to explore more of the UK….and the world 👀
Bimbling, Books & Beer isn’t really about one location though, it’s about the feeling of being somewhere and taking the time to experience it properly.
Yes, you can follow many of the routes from my videos, including sections of the South West Coast Path and quieter coastal trails in Cornwall and Devon.
I always recommend watching the video first to get a feel for the route. If you want more detail, feel free to reach out and I can share a GPX file or point you towards a relevant guide.
Some of my walks are suitable for beginners, while others are a bit more challenging.
I always try to be open about what to expect, including terrain, distance and overall difficulty, so you can decide what feels right for you.
In my South West Coast Path series, I usually touch on this in the intro or description to help you plan properly.
I use a mix of kit depending on the situation, but the goal is always the same, to keep things flexible and true to the environment I’m in.
A lot of my content is filmed on an iPhone, alongside action cameras, a drone for aerial shots, and a small audio setup to capture clean sound out in the elements.
Everything is edited in house using CapCut and Canva, keeping the whole process simple and consistent from start to finish.

Yes, the vast majority of what you see is filmed solo while I’m out walking.
Occasionally I’ve had help on small sections, but most of the time it’s just me, a tripod, and whatever the conditions decide to throw at me.
Yes, and that’s a big part of what I try to find.
I spend a lot of time exploring quieter coastal paths, hidden coves and less crowded routes away from the busiest spots.
If you’re planning a trip, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction.
Yes, I work with brands and local businesses, particularly those that naturally fit into what I already do.
The focus is always on creating honest, story led content that sits naturally within my walks, whether that’s a location, stay, or something local to eat or drink.

I work best with brands that genuinely fit into my world.
That includes accommodation, breweries, outdoor brands, publishers and businesses connected to walking, travel and the outdoors.
If it’s something I would naturally use or experience while I’m out filming, it usually works.
Most of my content is built around real experiences, not staged moments.
I focus on slower, more considered storytelling that reflects what it actually feels like to be out walking and exploring.
I’m not just showing a place, I’m trying to put you in it. The pace, the atmosphere, the small moments that often get missed.
The aim is to create something honest and worth your time, not just content competing for attention.
Yes, and I genuinely appreciate it.
That could be as simple as following along, subscribing, or engaging with what I create.
If you’d like to go a step further, you can support the work through my Buy Me a Coffee page, or by picking up one of the small number of items I release through my socials, including stickers and the ‘Calm You’re Chasing’ t shirts.
All support goes straight back into creating more content and keeping Bimbling, Books & Beer moving forward.
